Hometown blend is community in a cup! The “house” coffee at our shop, this medium roast is balanced and highly versatile—tasting great in espresso, batch drip, and cold brew coffee. For this blend, we use select beans from Central America and Ethiopia.
Need it ground? Just choose your preferred brew method, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Coffee is roasted to order to ensure freshness. 12oz - 340g Bag
POUR OVER
Brew Ratio: 1:16 (e.g. 25g coffee → 400g water)
Grind: Medium–fine (like table salt)
Water Temp: 200–205°F (93–96°C)
Filter: Rinse paper filter with hot water to remove papery taste
Steps:
- Bloom – Add 50g of water (about 2x coffee weight), swirl gently, and let bloom for 30–45 sec.
- Pour 2 – Add water until 200g total.
- Pour 3 – Add water until 300g total.
- Final Pour – Add water until 400g total.
- Drawdown – Let it finish dripping (target total brew time 3:00–3:30).
