Our Burundi Kibingo comes from the Kayanza highlands in northern Burundi, where over 3,500 smallholder farmers — most working less than a third of an acre — deliver their cherry to the Kibingo washing station to be sorted, fermented, and washed by hand. Grown at 1,893 meters and made up almost entirely of Bourbon variety trees, this coffee is a true community effort: what one farm can't produce alone, thousands of neighboring hands bring together into something exceptional.
In the cup: Brown sugar, fresh apple, and tropical fruits — bright, layered, and exactly the kind of coffee that makes people ask "wait, what is this?"
